Darrin had an affair with Kirsten during his marriage to Grayce Wyvern, she was one of Grayce's ladies in waiting. Tager is younger than Derwin, but older than Grendorin. Tager was raised as the son of Trager Terne, Darrin's Captain of the Guard, and Kirsten's husband.
